The Potential System, Honestly

Whether an Aniimo is worth training depends on hidden per-stat values — and the numbers circulating on wikis contradict each other. Here is what is actually established, what is datamined, and what our appraisal calculator is waiting on.

What is established ✓ client-stated

  • Every stat has its own Potential — there is no single 1–5 slider for the whole creature.
  • Potential splits into Innate (IP) — fixed at capture or hatch — and Acquired (AP) — raised through training and enhancement materials.
  • The one official figure: IP + AP never exceeds 20 per stat.
  • An appraisal grades overall quality from Common to Perfect.

Personality & Traits datamined

  • Personality rolls on four MBTI-style axes; each of the eight Traits raises one stat by +3%, +6% or +10%.
  • Two same-species, same-tier Aniimo can differ drastically in real value purely on stat distribution — which is exactly what makes appraisal worth calculating.

Where the appraisal calculator is

We are building one — but we will not ship it until two independent datamine sources agree on the per-grade thresholds and trait tables. The wikis publishing “potential calculators” today quote numbers that are per-stat wrong (several treat Potential as one fixed value locked at capture, which the game contradicts). A calculator built on wrong constants is worse than none.

Datamined the tables yourself? If you have per-stat grade thresholds, trait multiplier tables, or appraisal breakpoints from the game files, we will credit you as the source. Reach us via the contact page — the first two corroborating datasets go live with attribution.
